The award winning specialty food store in Nenagh - also a fabulous coffee shop. Country Choice, Peter Ward's pride and joy! Hanly's Woollen Mill offers a wide range of locally made woollen products, including high quality clothing and blankets. Nenagh has a number of notable places of interest. This website by the country council provides a good reference for the travellor to the area. Brocka-on-the-water has to be one of our favorite restaurants, period! Anne looks after you wonderfully and offers something totally different. Yes, it is a bit of a drive, but worth it! |

Worth a visit in summer, The Whiskey Still is situated in the main street in the picturesque village of Dromineer. Not far away, it is also a haven for sailing on Lough Derg. Lucky Bags is a rural pub that is filled with memorabilia form days gone by. Excellent Guinness and often provides musical entertainment. Birr Castle, situated just up the Borrisokane Road, offers an outstanding set of developed gardens and a large (inhabited!) castle. Nenagh Golf Course is just up the road. Newly lengthened, it offers both a wonderful challenge, but also a scenic view of North Tipperary. |
